Murphy ...

... has had his first haircut. He's loving going down to the beach and it's a struggle to get him to leave! Murphy was the very darkest puppy, now the dark tips are off, he looks every bit a Wheaten boy.

Muddy Paddy ...

Paddy has probably had more of the sun and heat than any of the pups. Kent has been very hot so he has been taking refuge in the shade or stream. Mind you, a walk, or hide and seek in the fields is too tempting!

Flo ...

Dear Flo looks almost identical to Molly at this age. She weighs 9.5kg and has won a big place in her family's hearts and lives.

Tamsin ...

...with her Auntie Lillee and the rest of the family. She is getting prepared for the show ring with ringcraft lessons. Her first show is at the end of August when she is 6 months old. In the meantime, life is a bowl of cherries with her relatives.

The Tail of a Mouse ... and Billy

This morning at breakfast time Billy was sniffing and pawing at the piece of wood below the the garden room door [Billy's room although I'm not supposed to call it his room]
Suddenly out from underneath the piece of wood ran a mouse!!!!
Billy immediately ran after it pouncing on it and biting it, the mouse was squeaking like mad and it's little tail shaking around all over the place!
My brother immediately ran out of the house in his dressing gown and bare feet to hold Billy by the collar to let the poor mouse run away!
Although we couldn't particularly tell Billy off because he's a Terrier and it was his instinct.
That mouse definitely won't be coming back though!

Murphy getting lighter ...

... not in weight (he's 10.6kgs) but he only has dark brown tips on his coat with the blond coming through. He and Tipsy are best pals apart from when the cat sleeps in his bed!
